Why are we spending billions of dollars in the IRAQ war?

The war was triggered by 9/11
Around 2800 people died that day.
Now….. why r we spending billions and hundreds of billions of dollars fighting a war that cost thousands of lives on both sides just to take revenge for those 2800 people that died that day? If you do the math….we’ve spent at least 333,333.33 on each victim of 9/11
that money could be going into healthcare and education…for anybody that is still alive
It sounds heartless but think about it from an economic point of view. Terriorists are at the bottom of the list of things that can kill you. There are more ways that people can die from…for example…. car accidents! Why arent we ‘declaring a war’ on that?
Not only we are spending lots of money in the world…we are burrowing a lot too. We are spending money we dont have…now I know that everyone here knows that THAT is always a bad idea. Bush is like a teenager who dont know how to manage money.
