Oh Yea Its Af asked: Yes, there are few guys on the team who are overpaid but look at it this way: Every dime they spend is recouped in their ticket sales, corporate sponsorship, jersey sales, and whatever other ways they make money. We’re not talking about a team in the red here.
Also, every year, they contend for their division and a possible World Series appearance. You cannot argue that they forced the Red Sox into their style of team management.
I’m not asking this question in baseball terms (value compared to the money), but in Yankees financial context, if u know what I mean….
