i manage a restaurant that has apartments above and 1 tenant is always harassing me for money what can i do?

this tenant as far as i know never signed a lease he refused to can my boss just give him thirty days notice without the whole court papers?i’m afraid of what he might do during the waiting period tho, can we get him out quicker because there was no lease signed?
